CINCHOCAINE/DIBUCAINE (CAS: HCl 61-12 -1; Base 85-79-0), also known as Dibucaine (CINCAIN®, PROCTOSEDYL®, NUPERCAINAL®, NUPERCAINE® and SOVCAINE®) is a quinoline derivative. It’s the first amide-type local anesthetic and is among the most potent and toxic long-acting local anesthetics. It is 100 times stronger than cocaine.
